Smoking, Vaping, & E-cigarette Cessation Counseling
Counseling is available for patients who want to quit smoking, vaping, or using e-cigarettes.
This service is designed to help you better understand the effects these habits have on your lungs
and overall health, and to support you in making informed decisions about quitting.
During counseling, we will review how smoking and vaping impact the respiratory system and other
parts of the body in a clear and understandable way. You will also receive personalized guidance on
effective cessation strategies, recommended resources, and ongoing support throughout your
journey towards better respiratory health.
Telemedicine
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, telemedicine has become a safe and effective way for patients to receive medical care without needing to leave the comfort of home. We are pleased to offer secure video visits so you can connect directly to us while maintaining peace of mind and convenience.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as chest discomfort, nasal congestion, a lingering dry cough, shortness of breath, or other breathing concerns, a telemedicine visit may be the right first step. During your appointment, we will carefully listen to your symptoms, review your medical history, and provide guidance or treatment recommendations. If further in-person evaluation is needed, we will help you arrange the appropriate next steps.
Preoperative / Presurgical Evaluation
If you are preparing for an outpatient surgery, we are here to help you move through surgery and recovery with confidence. We will carefully review your respiratory health, discuss any concerns you may have, and perform simple tests if needed. This helps us understand your individual risk level and ensures that your surgical team has all the information they need to keep you comfortable and safe.
